Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American actor and comedian, is also known as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. After immigrating to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as an actress in her early years as a child. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials between 2013 and 2016 - and since 2020 - made her famous. In addition to her commercial appearances, she also appeared as a series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). She also starred in an ongoing role as a character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub has also been voiced as Squirrel Girl in the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being selected to play the character in the unaired television pilot for New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents, who were two years old, immigrated to America as refugees from antisemitism. They moved to West Hollywood. She began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five, because of the financial difficulties of her family. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School, but she dropped out of the school following her sophomore year. She earned a GED and then went to complete the Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She learned improv comedy from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
